Woodlawn United Methodist Church - 2825 Brambleton Ave., SW, Roanoke, VA 24015
“Hello! My name is John Snyder and it is my pleasure to serve as pastor for the loving and nurturing fellowship of Christian disciple at Woodlawn United Methodist Church. I moved to Roanoke in June of 2014 to be the pastoral leader of this great congregation. Prior to my move to the Roanoke Valley I was pastor of Churches in Gretna, Virginia and Axton, Virginia and youth minister in Danville, Virginia. I am originally a Florida native, growing up in Fort Myers, but as you can see I left the swamp and got to Virginia’s higher ground as quickly as I could. I am excited to be living in Roanoke where I have the ability to access the cultural amenities of city life and still have an easy path to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the mountainous beauty of God’s creation.
